Klarmode serves as your professional identity, providing a secure digital platform to showcase your skills and achievements. Users can add projects, certificates, courses, and skills, which can be verified through peer feedback and ratings. Klarmode transforms these achievements into a CV or allows users to share a link to their profile. This platform benefits users by enabling them to display and verify their skills comprehensively, helping to secure their first job, pivot their career, request a raise, and build an authentic online profile. Users must accurately represent their skills and projects, and peer verification requires mutual consent to maintain integrity.

By participating in Klarmode, you also grant us permission to use your username and other identifying information associated with your account in a manner that aligns with your privacy preferences and our Privacy Policy. This includes using your details to enhance your profile's visibility and credibility within the Klarmode.

The licence you grant us can be terminated at any time by deleting your content or account. However, if we or our partners have used your content in connection with commercial or sponsored content, the licence will continue until the relevant commercial or post has been discontinued by us.

Our approach focuses on making talent move by connecting skilled individuals with opportunities in a fair, convenient, transparent, and swift manner. We replace biased hiring practices with skills-based assessments, simplify the hiring process by reducing friction, provide transparency around job roles and salaries, and leverage AI for fast and accurate matching of profiles to opportunities. This ensures a seamless connection between talent and job opportunities, enhancing the user experience and facilitating career growth.

Registration and Payments

To use our services, you must create an account. All information provided must be accurate and updated as necessary. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and any activities that occur under them. If unauthorised access is suspected, notify us immediately. Klarmode is not responsible for losses arising from failure to maintain confidentiality.

At some point, you may to wish to purchase a subscription (Klarmode Plus) to unlock new features, you will need to provide financial details relevant to your chosen payment method, including credit card information. All payments are processed via Stripe, which handles your data according to their Terms of Service. By using our platform, you agree to comply with Stripe's policies.

Billing for Klarmode Plus begins on the subscription date and recurs automatically on each renewal date. Your credit card will be charged on the day corresponding to the subscription's start date each month. Fees are prepaid for the upcoming month, and users can cancel at any time via their Settings page. Access to Klarmode Plus features continues until the end of the current billing period, after which it ceases unless re-subscribed. Refunds are not available.

By subscribing, you authorise Klarmode to automatically bill your selected payment method for any recurring fees. If a payment is unsuccessful due to card expiration, insufficient funds, or other issues, you remain responsible for uncollected amounts. We may suspend or terminate your subscription if payments remain overdue.

Upon profile deletion, Klarmode retains a trace of your profile data for up to 90 days for legal, security, and operational purposes. After this period, the data is permanently deleted. During this retention period, your data remains subject to our strict security protocols and will not be publicly accessible.

Copyright Infringement and Returns

Users agree not to upload or share copyrighted material without proper authorisation. Any reported copyright infringement will be promptly investigated. If infringement is confirmed, the offending content will be removed, and repeat offenders will face account suspension or termination. Currently, Klarmode Plus services are not eligible for returns or refunds, as all transactions are final and pre-paid. Users are encouraged to carefully review the features and benefits of Klarmode Plus before subscribing to ensure it meets their needs.

Klarmode cannot guarantee outcomes such as job offers or career advancements solely based on participation of Klar ID. The platform facilitates connections and provides resources, but individual success relies on the user's active engagement and accurate representation of their skills.

Some jurisdictions may not allow the limitation of implied warranties or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In these cases, the limitations outlined above may not apply, and Klarmode's liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by the relevant laws.
